Hours: Part-time, flexible scheduling (Facility open 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily)

About the Role

Shaded Oasis is a community-focused laundromat in Coke County. We are seeking a reliable, customer-friendly Part-Time Attendant to maintain facility cleanliness, assist customers, process wash and fold orders, and handle daily operations. This is a great opportunity for students, second-job seekers, or anyone looking for flexible hours in a hands-on role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process drop-off wash and fold orders with care and attention to detail.

  • Greet customers and assist them with washers, dryers, vending machines, and payment options (app/cash).

  • Maintain a clean and safe facility (ensure lint traps are cleaned throughout the day, sweep, mop, wipe down machines/folding tables, clean restrooms, and remove trash).

  • Monitor, clean, and restock on-site vending machines.

  • Process cash transactions accurately, reconcile the drawer, and complete opening/closing duties.

  • Monitor laundry machines, perform basic troubleshooting, and log maintenance issues.

  • Enforce facility rules courteously to ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (Proof of identity and eligibility required upon hire).

  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and safely lift or move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Available for flexible shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Note: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
